Terms of Use

1. What Riftei is

Riftei is a League of Legends coach that gives you real-time guidance during your matches — build, runes, rotations and objectives — through a discreet overlay, plus marketing websites and a panel to manage your account and subscription.

The desktop app is fully local: it does not modify the game, inject code, automate plays or use any Riot API key. It only reads information made available locally by your LoL client (Live Client API and client) and public performance data (OP.GG). Decisions and actions inside the game are always yours.

Riftei is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or administered by Riot Games. League of Legends and Riot Games are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.

2. Account and eligibility

To use Riftei you must create an account with truthful, complete and up-to-date information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity carried out under your account.

You represent that you have the legal capacity to accept these Terms. People under 18 may only use Riftei with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. The service is not intended for children under 13.

Notify Riftei immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any security breach you become aware of.

3. Plans, subscription and payment

Riftei offers a free plan and paid subscription plans, with features and limits described at checkout. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually), according to the cycle you choose.

Payments are processed by our payment provider, Asaas. By subscribing, you authorize the recurring charge for your plan on the chosen cycle, with automatic renewal until you cancel. We may change prices and plans with reasonable prior notice; changes take effect in the cycle following the notice.

You are responsible for keeping a valid payment method. If a payment fails or is delayed, we may suspend or downgrade access to paid features until the issue is resolved.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account panel. Cancellation stops future renewals; paid access remains available until the end of the period already paid, with no further charges afterwards.

For purchases made online, you have a right of withdrawal within 7 (seven) days of purchase under article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, with a refund of any amounts paid. Outside that case, refunds follow applicable law and the conditions disclosed at checkout.

5. Acceptable use and fair play

Riftei is a guidance and training tool. You agree to use it legitimately and not to use it for cheating, game automation or any purpose that violates the Riot Games Terms of Service or the law.

The following, among others, is prohibited:

• automating in-game actions, or using Riftei together with scripts, bots or cheating software;
• reselling, sublicensing, redistributing or commercially exploiting Riftei without authorization;
• reverse engineering, decompiling or attempting to extract the source code, except where the law allows;
• circumventing technical limits, security measures or access and subscription controls;
• using the service in a way that harms third parties, Riftei, Riot Games or the integrity of the game.

6. Intellectual property

Riftei — including the software, brand, design, texts and content — belongs to Riftei or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive and revocable license to use Riftei under these Terms.

Third-party trademarks, names and content (such as League of Legends and Riot Games) belong to their respective owners and are used for reference only.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Riftei is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee wins, rank climbing, performance improvement, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation or compatibility with every hardware/software setup.

The coach’s guidance consists of suggestions based on data and heuristics and does not replace your own judgment during a match.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Riftei is not liable for indirect or incidental damages, lost profits, data loss or consequences arising from misuse of the service, including any penalties applied by Riot Games due to user conduct that violates these Terms or the Riot Terms.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liabilities that cannot be excluded or limited by law, in particular those set out in the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access, in whole or in part, to accounts that violate these Terms, the law or third-party rights, or where there is a risk to the security of the service. Where possible and appropriate, we will provide prior notice.

You may close your account at any time. Closing it does not affect obligations already due or amounts owed up to that point.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, the law or our practices. The "last updated" date at the top indicates the current version. Relevant changes will be communicated by reasonable means. Continued use after they take effect represents your agreement.

11. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of the District (Comarca) of São Paulo, State of São Paulo, are elected to settle disputes arising from these Terms, without prejudice to the consumer’s right to bring the claim in the venue of their own domicile under the Consumer Protection Code.
